Ocala National Forest and Jeeptoberfest 2013

Well another year of Jeeptoberfest has come by, which presents the opportunity to go camping and wheeling thru the Ocala National Forest. This was an event to go with the Jeep Only Club, were we don't only go to the main event but also introduce new members to camping and off-road driving. This year we had some new faces and new vehicles come along and some not so new also. As for pictures this turned out to be the perfect opportunity for it to be a collaboration of everyone involved since one of my hands was at the time not fully functional, so thanks to Michi, Derek, Mig and Laura this posting became possible. I'd also like to take a moment and thank everyone who helped me out, making this trip a possibility particularly Derek who set up my tent and camp and broke it down for me. Enjoy the pictures!

The group, made up of people from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties met up at the Pompano Beach Service Plaza on the turnpike for an early meet and greet and start the convoy heading north.

After setting up camp some of the group took a stroll around Juniper Springs park.

We had to take advantage and go for a night ride thru the forest!

Jeeptoberfest 2013!!

This festival has something for everyone, from trails to ride, vendors, and vehicles for sale and for show, stock to super modified it's all here. However none of it can be truly enjoyed without a proper breakfast.

Sunday was a day for one more trail ride before heading home, although not for everyone we still had a great time.

Again I would like to thank everyone who made this trip an awesome one and remind you to go out and enjoy our natural resources and leave nothing but your foot prints!
