Trail Ride at 8th St, Miami

October 12th, 2012, The Jeep Only Club of Miami had a meet and greet Trail Ride at 8th St and 137 Ave. in Miami and since I'm a member and club sponsor I took advantage of this opportunity to meet new friends, and test my Jeep and it's modifications/upgrades.

I met with club president Mike at around 4:00 p.m. and another club members arrived shortly after and we took off on the trails.

In the picture above you can see what the surface we were about to ride on was like, coral rock and mud most of it under the water, so it was very much like driving on a cheese grater.
The first stuck of the day, nothing that a quick pull couldn't fix, but a clear demonstration of why it is so important to have the proper equipment when going off road.
After the first mud hole "play time"
JL and Danny joined us to get some mud time!!
And that's what happened after the rest of the guys showed up!! There is some nice blue paint under all that mud, LOL! Mike has video of how this happened, will try to upload later.
I couldn't wait till the next day to wash some of the layers of mud out so I ran the Jepp thru a car wash, after the car wash it still needs at least another wash ot two.
The crew for the afternnon/early evening from left to right: Mike, JL, Danny, Roger, me.
This trip was alot of fun, and if you have a Jeep I highly recomend doing it at least once, but never by yourself.
On a side note, I did notice some rubbage along the trails, some too big to pick up with a Jeep or even a small pick up truck, so I will ask to everyone reading this that just like at the beach, "leave only your foot prints" and "tread lightly" please.
